General course information:
Apart from the 'Sewing for Beginners' course, most courses do require a basic sewing knowledge. If you are unsure if a course is suitable for you, please get in touch..
- Materials are not provided but advice will be given on booking
- Sewing Machines can be supplied if required
- Minimum age 12
Whether you have had bad experiences of sewing in the past, have never sewn before or have a new sewing machine and don’t know where to start, this course is for you. We cover all the basics and you'll be amazed at how your confidence grows from day one.

Students will learn lots of stitches but also learn some general embroidery tips such
- - Needle types and sizes
- - Threads and numbers of strands to use
- - How to make secure and easy knots
- - Types of embroidery hoops and how to use them
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and is a great introduction to a very relaxing and creative hobby.
